Future Skills Experience

Discover where STEM skills can take you

The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) is inviting year 11 and 12 students to showcase a range of future careers that relate to STEM skills. The majority of the world’s fastest growing occupations require STEM skills and there is an urgent need for a skilled workforce in hundreds of emerging industries in Australia.

Students will hear from industry experts across a range of fields and be able to get hands-on with the latest technology including 3D software and VR equipment.

Experiential workshops running on the day include:

  • Learn how Artificial Intelligence is developed
  • Create 3D environments
  • Code interactive 3D simulations
  • Experience the latest Virtual Reality applications

Future Skills Experience is being held on Friday 25th August from 10am - 1pm at AIE, E-Block, Canberra Technology Park, Watson. Registration is free.

This event is being held in the lead-up to National Skills Week which kicks off on Monday 28th August.
