Melbourne Campus ~ Industry Experience Days!

One day industry experience days for secondary and tertiary students and teachers in professional game development and 3D animation, Melbourne 1 and 3 October 2007
Conducted by veteran game developers, these one day programs provide a chance to find out first-hand what it takes to work in a professional game development studio and give hands-on experience in how to develop digital content used in games.
Guided by game industry veterans from the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE), participants will create and take away a 3D animation, digital object (environment asset) for a game level using the same software that industry uses. Teachers attending the program will also receive tutorial guides for a complete set of game assets.

Areas for discussion will cover:
- professional game design
- game development and animation processes
- the size and nature of the games and 3D animation industry
- career options and pathways
Cost: $45 for students and $60 for teachers
