AIE Wins Small Registered Training Organisation of the Year – Again!

17 Aug 2007

Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) has again been recognised as the Small Registered Training Organisation of the Year at the ACT Training Excellence Awards gala dinner, held last night by ACT Department of Education and Training. This is the third time AIE has won this prestigious award; an achievement not matched by any other organisation in the awards 7 year history.

In accepting the award, Mr Neil Boyd, Head of School, thanked the hard work and dedication of his talented staff, the ongoing partnership with Canberra Institute of Technology and the ongoing support of the games development, animation and 3D creative industries who continue to provide exceptional opportunities for AIE graduates.

“This award confirms AIE’s reputation as the leader in education practice in this field and that we provide students with the best start to their careers in the games development and 3D animation and visualisation industries,” says Mr Boyd.

The ACT Training Excellence Awards recognise the dedicated training efforts in the ACT by training organisations, employers, apprentices and trainees, students, industry associations and excellence in achievement of individuals and organisations.
