Fast-track your career into games and get your course fees back!

Online students enrolled in the Certificate III in IT have the opportunity to fast-track their entry to the games industry by enrolling into the six-month, full-time, intensive Certificate IV in IT (Games Programming) which starts in July 2007 at AIE Canberra. Any student taking this pathway can get the cost of their online studies deducted from their full-time Certificate IV course fees. This is a saving of up to $1200!
This offer is open to all Certificate III in IT students, past and present. Even if you are only getting started in the Cert III Programming course online you are eligible for this offer. This opportunity is aimed at getting more programmers though the game development pathway at AIE and into the games industry to meet the huge demand for games programmers.
In the Certificate IV in IT (Game Programming) industry experienced teachers guide students through a series of tutorials, exercises, assignments and industry guest lectures to cover subjects such as C++ fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, binary arithmetic, vectors, trigonometry, logical and bitwise operations, managing C++ structures, class design, memory management, OO design, pointers, pre-processor basics and version control using professional industry level software.
The Certificate IV covers the game programming fundamentals and leads on into the Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development (Software Development Major). On completion of their game development studies, students have access to a wide range of careers in the games development, simulation and CGI industries as well as pathways to further study at university.
