Latest Course - Beyond Cert II!

This course is about taking your 3D animation skills beyond Certificate II and to the next level.
Beyond Cert II will run over eight weeks, during which students will work on the creation of a high-poly scene involving a vehicle and character. This could be a spaceport in a distant galaxy or an ancient temple from a lost civilisation- it’s up to you.
Over eight week students learn techniques in:
- Modelling using edit poly and pro-boolean to facilitate high-poly rigid object creation
- More modelling tips
- Unwrapping the ‘pain-free’ way.
- Texturing workshop – how to fake texturing talent.
- New architecture and design materials
- Good lighting designs
- High-poly character modelling using edge loops
- Creating high-poly muscles on your character
- Beyond basic rigging – skin and bones
- Lighting makes it real – advanced lighting setups
The course will run Wednesday evenings 5:30 – 9:30pm beginning on 28th February and ending on the 18th April 2007.
This class will have a maximum of 12 students to enable each student more one to one assistance from the teacher. The total cost of the course is $594 (inc GST) which can be paid upfront or in weekly installments.

*Please note this course requires students to have previously completed the Certificate II in Basic 3D Electonic Animation or show equivalent knowledge of 3D Studio Max.
