Industry Training for Professional Game Development and Screen

Two sessions:
- Games++ (Programming/Software Development for Games): 10am to 12 Noon
- Games+Screen (3D Animation/Art for Games and Film/TV): 1.30 to 4.30pm
Each session will cover:
- Entry requirements: What should you think about before coming to the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) for industry training and experience? What eligibility criteria do you need to meet for direct entry into the second year of the programming and 3D animation courses?
- Course content: What can you expect from industry training at the AIE? What latest industry software and skills are taught in AIE’s nationally accredited courses?
- The Melbourne and Australian Industry: What games are made locally? Where have our industry-ready graduates gone? What projects are they working on?
- Career options and pathways: What sort of job will you find? What further career paths can you follow?

We also invite you to visit the AIE stand at the eGames & Entertainment Expo which will be held from 16 to 18 November at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
AIE is an active founding member of the Game Developers’ Association of Australia and is involved in consulting with both government and other education institutions on policy and training programs for Australia’s game development and 3D digital industries. AIE also actively promotes game development as a career path for women through its direct support of www.womeningames.org.au.
