How to Apply
This section comprises information on applications, admissions, and the provision of certified documentation.

Making an Application
Step 1
- Complete the application form and attach certified documents and portfolio as required.

- Application Processing Fee of AUD$120 must be included with application. (Applications received without payment will not be processed.)
Step 2
If your application is successful we will send you a Letter of Offer. This letter will:
- Explain the course that you have been accepted into;
- Confirm the fees that are payable, details on how to pay and the course start date, and details on how you can pay for the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC);
- Include an Acceptance of Offer Declaration for you to complete.
If your application is not successful we will write to you explaining why.
Step 3
You should provide AIE with the following:
- Evidence of preliminary visa approval (if applicable);
- Payment for the first semester tuition fees;
- Evidence that you have paid for the first year of the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC);
- The completed Acceptance of Offer Declaration.
Payment should be in Australian dollars. There are a number of ways in which to pay your course fees:
- By international bank draft (linked to an Australian bank) and be made payable to “Academy of Interactive Entertainment”. You should write your full name on the back of the draft.
- Deposit the funds into the AIE bank account. Bank details will be written in an Invoice sent with the Letter of Offer.
- Credit Card. You can fax or phone through your credit card details.
Step 4
Once we receive the documents explained in Step 3 we will send you:
- A Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) which confirms your acceptance into your course and which you will need to take to the Australian diplomatic mission to obtain your student visa.
Step 5
Apply for your Student Visa through the Australian diplomatic mission nearest you. Alternatively, if you have applied for study at AIE through one of our overseas representative offices, that office will also be able to assist you with these procedures.
Certified Documents
Please read this section carefully: Only original or certified copies of documents will be accepted. If you send us copies they must be certified by an authorised officer from one of the following organisations:
- The official records department of the institution that originally issued the documents;
- An Australian diplomatic mission;
- An authorised representative of AIE.
Your present name must be added to copies of qualifications obtained under a former name. Certified translations must accompany documents that are not in English.
