Discover the courses designed to get you started in game development, film, 3D animation and visual effects at the AIE Information Evening. The evening will include presentations on different areas of industry to get into as well as information about AIE full-time and part-time courses and entry requirements. We will be showing off AIE student work and our staff and teachers will be available to chat with you about our courses and how AIE can get you into a creative career.

Information Evening starts at 6pm and runs until 8pm.

  • AIE COURSES AND CAREER PATHWAYS

    The games and film industry continues to grow significantly both in Australia and overseas. During this session participants will be given an overview of the opportunities that exist in the games and film industries as well as detailed information on the courses that AIE offers, and the application process.

    GAME PROGRAMMING

    Programmers are the wizards of the future! Game programmers are instrumental when it comes to creating the framework, functionality and interaction in a game.

    GAME DESIGN AND PRODUCTION

    Game Designers are instrumental in the development of the concepts, story and implementation of game play dynamics in video game production. They are the visionaries and evangelists and are vital in the development process. AIE's Game Design and Production teachers will be providing information on the content of this course.

  • Game Art And Animation | White Icon For Circle

    3D ANIMATION FOR GAMES AND FILM

    3D artists create all the amazing visual content we see on our screens. This session will provide an in-depth look at AIE's Game Art and Animation course, as well as AIE's 3D Animation and VFX course with specific details on each of the units covered in the course. Teachers will also be showcasing work from some of this year's students.

  • Filmmaking Icon | AIE

    FILMMAKING

    Discover what it takes to tell stories using film as your medium and the latest in virtual production technology. This session will provide an overview of AIE's Film and Virtual Production course with information about the curriculum, equipment, software and practical skills students will develop in this course.
