The part-time Certificate III in Media is designed as an introductory course for people interested in learning basic skills in 3D art. It allows students to maintain their current studies or employment whilst exploring new career opportunities in 3D animation and modelling. Students graduate with a basic portfolio pf 3D artwork which serves as a valuable introduction to pursuing futher study in 3D animation.

Students will be introduced to the uses and architecture of 3D software and will gain an understanding of skills and techniques necessary to create and render 3D animations. Areas of study include: introduction to 3D modelling, basic modelling, texturing, lighting and character animation.
