Global Game Jam 2013 - Canberra Jam

AIE Canberra will be hosting an official site for the 2013 Global Game Jam in the ACT.

A game jam is an event where teams of developers create a game in a short amount of time (usually 48 hours). AIE regularly holds game jams for the students and this January the Canberra campus will be opening the doors up to everyone. Check out the video below to see a 48 hour jam in only 10 minutes.

You don’t have to be an AIE student to participate in the Global Game Jam. If you would like to join but have never made a game before and don’t know what tools to use, you can get up to speed quickly with our free Making Games with Gamemaker course. This course will allow you learn basic skills to compete in the game jam. If you are keen to build games in 3d with the Unity engine, check out our new online courses now to be ready in time for the jam.
