‘Framed’ – if you love indie games and originality, this is the game for you! Already dubbed as the “game to watch in 2014” and accolades coming in from all corners of the globe, the guys from Loveshack Entertainment are certainly making their mark on the indie scene.

Josh Boggs (2009 AIE Graduate of the Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development) and his team, Loveshack Entertainment have a very busy year ahead of them. ‘Framed’ - their popular award winning noir/comic style puzzle game hasbeen gaining a whirlwind of attention both locally and internationally over the last eight months.

Previously in 2013, ‘Framed’ won IGF China -  with an Excellence in Design award; Freeplay (Australia) - Best Game and Best Design award; and was officially selected for Eurogamer Indie Game Arcade, Sense of Wonder Night and Toronto Comics Arts Festival. In the next few months ‘Framed’ is involved in the following exciting events:


        -      SXSW Awards in Austin, Texas, USA where they are nominated for SXSW Gamer’s
Voice Award. Other SXSW gaming award finalists include big names such as Grand Theft Auto V, Super Mario 3D World, and Bioshock infinite

-          Framed has been selected to showcase at BAFTA Games (British Academy Film and Television Arts Games) at the indie games arcade on the 12th of March in London, UK

-          ‘Framed’ have also been invited to showcase for the MIX (Media Indie Exchange), San Francisco by Interbang Entertainment

-          IGN on the 17th of March during the Annual Game Developers Conference

-          Nominated for Best Upcoming Game at the 10th Annual IMGA (International Mobile Gaming Awards) in San Francisco, California, USA from the 18th March

-          Showcasing their game at PAX East in Boston, USA at the beginning of April (only six games have been selected for the Indie Showcase at PAX East, two of which are Australian.


Overall it seems 2014, will be an exhausting yet rewarding year for the guys at Loveshack Entertainment with popular gaming media outlets Indie Game Reviewer and Gamezebo naming Framed as one of 2014’s Most Anticipated Indie Games.
