02-Sep-2013 Five AIE Seattle graduates were credited on Harebrained Schemes’s tactical role-playing game ‘Shadowrun Returns’. The game was a major success on Kickstarter, hitting the funding goal of $400,000 in 28 hours and going on to raise $1.8 Million by the end of the campaign.

Shadowrun franchise was created by Jordan Weisman, the designer responsible for MechWarrior and Crimson Skies. The game was released on Steam just over a month ago (25th July) and has been well received by critics and fans alike.

AIE Graduates had a great time working on Shadowrun Returns. Katherine Walker enthused that the best thing about working at Harebrained Schemes is “I learn so much every day I'm there, and it's so exciting to be accepted into a community of such intelligent and creative people.”

The graduates were recruited by Mitch Gitelman, Studio Manager and Co-founder of Harebrained Schemes who guest lectured at AIE Seattle. You can read an interview with three of the graduates at the AIE US Campus website.
