If you're ready to make game development, 3D animation and/or visual effects your career, then the first step is to apply to study at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment via our online form. If you're feeling a bit old school and would like to print an application form then you can download a copy in PDF format below (on-campus courses only).

The application process for on-campus Advanced Diploma courses is broken up into three stages.

Stage One:
Apply for the course using one of the following forms:

(on-campus courses only)

Stage Two:
Once your application is received you will be contacted via mail or email with a time for an informal interview. Think of the interview as a friendly chat with a teacher about your ambitions, goals and skills. For students from interstates and regional areas, the interview can be also conducted over the phone.

At the interview, students applying for art courses will need to submit a portfolio of artwork, whilst students applying for programming courses to provide evidence of previous programming experiences

Stage Three:
On completion of the interview you will be notified of your acceptance into the course or a recommended course of action to gain entry for 2013. You can complete the enrolment form immediately following the interview or attend a nominated enrolment session. For interstate students, you will need to complete the enrolment process in person at any time prior to the commencement of the course.

Students applying for direct entry into the second year are recommended to contact your nearest campus before submitting the application.
