SunDay screens at MIAF 2011

Neil Boyd - Friday, December 10, 2010

AIE Melbourne's former students Arunima Patke and Keiko Kamata's 3D animation screened at the Melbourne International Animation Festival (MIAF) 2011. The four-minute animation, SunDay, revolves around Rikka who is responsible for switching the day and night in her town. It was created as part of their first year project for Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media. With only ten weeks to work on their project, the pair wrote a strict schedule and worked closely together. While Arunima focused on bringing Rikka to life, Keiko created the environment and added colour and light to Rikka's world.
